Practical Experience:
Darren Agombar is one of the leading exponents of behavioural analysis applied to financial markets Europe. With a wealth of global trading experience across a broad spectrum of assets, Darren has worked for banks such as Standard Chartered and Calyon in London, Dubai and Tokyo. Darren left the banking industry in 2004 to pursue a behavioural trading strategy managing his own capital, and continues to do this today. Darren’s trading career spans 20+ years.
From the experience gained in developing a behavioural approach to trading and research, Darren formed Claradan – a company that provides behavioural analysis and behavioural strategies to business and organisations specialising in financial markets and financial services. Claradan provides training workshops and e learning products, financial market research and consultancy services. Claradan has built close ties with academic institutions to ensure the integrity of its application of behavioural analysis and continues to bring innovative and value added products to market and frequently advises research students in the appropriate fields. Claradan is a member of the International Association for Research in Economic  Psychology. (IAREP)

Claradan provides research to individual traders as well as international banks, has provided training content for the CME Education department, articles published on the OU/BBC website, Industry Journals, hosts on line groups for Behavioural Finance on Linked in and FT Alphaville.
Claradan provide the behavioural Finance content for the OU MBA program (17,000 students so far) and is a Retained Speaker for the CFA in the field of Behavioural Finance.
