About us

Trevor Neil began his career in the markets in 1974 as a soft commodity floor trader for Merrill Lynch and started developing a passion and a flair for the study of behavioural economics and technical analysis indicators. He moved to Liffe to provide short-term technical analysis support for arbitrageurs in the Bund Pit. Until the end of 2004 he was Global Head of Technical Analysis Training and Development at Bloomberg LP.

He has consulted closely with many of the world\'s top developers of Technical Analysis Indicators, including Tom DeMark. He is currently also working on his first book.

Trevor Neil and Yvette Burfin, Managing Director of Beta Group, have been colleagues since their Bloomberg days and Yvette was delighted to jump on board the Beta Group Project, knowing that Trevor's reputation in the markets would go before him. With a legal background, and having organised large and small scale events for Bloomberg, the challenge of running the administration of Beta Group and organising conferences and seminars worldwide was irresistible. They are delighted to have now incorporated in the UK, and to have introduce Paddy Osborn to the team. Beta Group provides guidance and development sessions to a huge variety of clients worldwide, both at seminars and at in-house development days.

We work closely with Reuters, NYSE Euronext, the Technical Analyst magazine, Morgan Stanley, and other world class institutions.

“Back from the course we already started to discuss the different techniques and how this would support our business. Looking at that enthusiasm I would judge the workshop as a big success.”
Antonio Hernàndez, Unilever AG

“I found the course to be interesting, informative and highly enjoyable. As you know, I came to the course with something of a sceptical perspective and left it a believer! I must compliment you on both the content and presentation of the subject matter, the latter point being critical to the success of the exercise.”
Greg O’Higgins, ABN Amro
